Hi! I am Wolfie! I am a five year old, neutered housebroken male Pomeranian. I am a playful, fun-loving dog who loves to play fetch. I walk very nice on leash and love to go for rides in the car. We spitz-type dogs are very active and energetic. So I would do best in a home where I would receive at least one 30 minute walk a day. Since I am a toy companion dog and I really bond to my humans, I should also be in a home where my owner is home more often than not. Since I am an adult, housebroken dog, I am not crate trained and should not be left in a crate when you leave. When my foster dog parents leave me at home, I am given free run of the dining room and kitchen area and they leave mellow music on the radio to drown out outside noises. Because I am walked everyday, I am not a snippy, “yappy” dog.
But I am a good watchdog who will let you know when someone is at the front door.

I eat a premium dog food (Castor and Pollox “Organix”) to keep me healthy and I take an Omega-3 pill everyday for my coat. Keep in mind that small dogs like me can live very long lives if given the right food and care. We Poms need to be professionally groomed every six weeks and I require a brush-out every few days in order to
keep me looking so handsome.

I would thrive in a home with an experienced dog owner who knows that dogs need to be let out on a regular basis and need to be taken for walks to continue socialization. After all, I can’t open the door and let myself out! I behave really well when I am out and about. My foster humans take me into the bank and into other places when on errands. I’ve gone with them to outdoor cafes and behave like a gentleman.

I get along great with the two small dogs in my foster home. But I would also do great if I was the only dog.
