This is little Cian…and he is no longer this teeny tiny little baby.  Soon after we had this session, Mommy and Daddy went to live in Ireland for a while.  They’ve since come back and Mom finally got her portraits of this precious, precious little munchkin.

I know, I know…some of you may be shocked to see these images in color..LOL…since you know how crazy I am about black and white portraits.  But Mom really loved these in color…and you know what, I do too.   And what I really loved about this session was that Mom had brought it all of these props for her little bundle of joy. 
What’s awesome about that is that these portraits are totally personal!  I love that!

Lisa came in with her new little guy Michael.  We’ve been photographing Lisa’s family for a long time. 
She has 3 girls and now has a beautiful little boy! 
(You think if we had a 4th kid it would be a girl?  NOT!  LOL)

I really loved this session.  Michael did such a great job.  He slept for us a little bit too so that we could
get those precious sleepy newborn images.  I love the ones with Mom below.

Welcome to this world baby Tyler.  There is nothing more precious in this world than a little infant.  I love to photograph newborns when they are two weeks or younger.  They start to change so quickly after that.  Most babies this little sleep through their photo sessions, but not Tyler.  Mom had to work really hard to get him to sleep.  Here are some images from when he cried…they are also my favorites as they remind me of when a baby is first born and being carried to meet his Mommy.

And big sister Natalie, who is 4, came with. We’ve worked with Natalie many times in the past. And what a great little girl she was, like always. We spent 1.5 hours with Tyler and Natalie was such a trooper. I can’t imagine taking my 4 year old Mitchell with me somewhere for 1.5 hours and him being so good. Mom, I’m really impressed with Natalie!

Soon everyone will have to come in for an updated family portrait!

This is sweet little Alessandra.  She was 9 days old during her session.  For one so young, I expected her to be sleeping throughout the entire session.  But she wanted to prove us wrong and was so alert the entire time.  Her Daddy was there so she was just showing off! 


And this is her adorable big sister Gabby that we also had the pleasure of photographing a few months ago.

I was proofing a newborn session last night and just wanted to share one of my favorite images from that session. I love newborns sooo much. They are so beautiful and innocent. And it reminds me of how quickly time passes. It seems just like yesterday that my boys were newborns and now they’re almost 10, 7 and almost 4. When I work with these little newborns I almost (almost) wish I had another one of my own. Shhhh…don’t tell Frank, he’d be all over that!
