We have had such a flurry of First Holy Communion portraits lately.  We photographed the communicants from St. Cletus Church in LaGrange, IL and have had lots of in studio communion sessions.  I love seeing all the girls dolled up and the boys looking like little men!

Remember Michael who was featured on this blog for his newborn session?  You can find the feature by clicking here.  Well, he came back with his lovely sisters for another portrait session.  They finally got the little boy they all dreamed of!!

And here are some samples of how our clients decorate their homes wtih their portrait art:  First is a 30″ portrait of all the kids together with some smaller accents on each side.  The second image is a 20″ portrait of the girls from an older session and Brooke’s Communion storyboard, and the third is a collection of small prints sized 8×10 and 5×7 displayed beautifully on a dresser with images from many previous sessions…I love how this looks!! What a great way to display all those small prints from your previous collections!!!

How wonderful and amazing it is to have the honor of photographing these special times in our clients lives.  I’ve watched Emi and her brother and sisters grow since she was an infant…and now this little beautiful lady just had her First Holy Communion! 
Truly in the blink of an eye they grow!

Look at that hair..many women would kill for that hair Emi!!!  Glad we were able to get you in here before you got it cut for Locks of Love…but you’re cute anyway!!! ;)

It’s Holy Communion time again. It’s so wonderful to see these beautiful boys and girls coming in all gorgeous looking in their communion outfits. The boys in their suits give us a glipse of what they’ll look like when they’re older. The girls are so beautiful and remind me of princesses!

Tis the season for communion portraits. We’ve been getting a lot of clients coming in for their formal communion portraits. Here is a beautiful girl in her beautiful dress. Kelly did a spectacular job!  I know this is a communcion dress, but kelly looks like a princess.
