as well as as her adorable 1st birthday outfit.
It’s so wonderful to be a part of capturing such special times in our clients lives. Enjoy!

Remember Michael who was featured on this blog for his newborn session? You can find the feature by clicking here. Well, he came back with his lovely sisters for another portrait session. They finally got the little boy they all dreamed of!!

And beautiful sister Brooke was in a few months earlier for her First Holy Communion Portraits:

And here are some samples of how our clients decorate their homes wtih their portrait art: First is a 30″ portrait of all the kids together with some smaller accents on each side. The second image is a 20″ portrait of the girls from an older session and Brooke’s Communion storyboard, and the third is a collection of small prints sized 8×10 and 5×7 displayed beautifully on a dresser with images from many previous sessions…I love how this looks!! What a great way to display all those small prints from your previous collections!!!
Thanks for the inspiration Lisa!

Last time I photographed this beautiful family was when there were only 3 darling girls and Sadie was just a teensy baby. And here we are today with the addition of precious Noelle. And what a happy baby she is…I think my cheeks were starting to hurt from all the smiling I was doing in response to all of Noelle’s smiling!!!

This session was primarily for Sadie and Noelle, as it was time for their spot in the limelight. The greatest thing about the portrait above is that we have Sadie (on the right) actually smiling. She made us all work hard for that smile as she is mostly a serious gal, but we were triumphant! Here is a portrait that’s more like her….
Looking into that thoughtful beautiful face makes me wonder what deep thoughts are inside her little head.

And here are a few more of happy little Noelle…her smiles really are so contagious!! ♥

This is little Cian…and he is no longer this teeny tiny little baby. Soon after we had this session, Mommy and Daddy went to live in Ireland for a while. They’ve since come back and Mom finally got her portraits of this precious, precious little munchkin.
I know, I know…some of you may be shocked to see these images in color..LOL…since you know how crazy I am about black and white portraits. But Mom really loved these in color…and you know what, I do too. And what I really loved about this session was that Mom had brought it all of these props for her little bundle of joy.
What’s awesome about that is that these portraits are totally personal! I love that!

and this portrait was for grandma:

This wonderful family came to our studio to create their daughter Ava’s baptismal portrait as well as a family portrait. They come from a long line of Chicago police officers on both sides and brought a hat with them for their son Joseph, to document the special uniqueness of their family. I love that photo! Might I take a wild guess at what his future possibly holds??
Really, really great family! Enjoy.

Jacob from Twilight and his family came into the studio for a family portrait!! Just Kidding!!!
But he sure does look like Jacob…doesn’t he Twihards???!! LOL
This gorgeous family came to see us from St. Charles. They should definately model for Gap or something, they are all so good looking!
I love interactive images between parents and their children!!!!

And of course the family pet is part of the family.
This is one of my most favorite families to photograph!!! I first met this wonderful family when Emi was a newborn, and it was just Alex and Emi, and now we have beautiful Gabi and Natalie. I know I say this all the time, but truly, I am so fortunate to be a part of watching such wonderful families and children grow. It is truly a privilege!
These image are from the holidays, but I just got a call from Mom wanting to bring Emi in for her First Communion portraits and she reminded me that I wanted to feature these gorgeous kids on the blog!! I can’t wait to see Emi soon. Enjoy!

Sisters Annabelle & Emmeline were in the studio recently. And if Annabelle looks a little familiar, she should as she was featured on this blog when she was about 6 months old…you can see the images from her session here. She came back with her little sister Emmeline for her 6 month session.

Chicago Children’s Fine Portraits and PhotographyAnd how adorable is the above photo…i’m so going to hang that one in the studio’s bathroom!!!
And….I learned that Mom is a teacher at a school in Chicago’s Brighton Park…where I spent years playing on that school’s playground…aaahhh….the memories!!! Thanks Erin..I haven’t thought about those times for a long time!
